Description

• Finished construction of the cosmic ray detector
• Created logic setup to eliminate false counts from the scintillator/photomultiplier detectors
• Wrote C++ code to perform the analysis of the muon data and determine the g-factor
• Determined cosmic ray muon g-factor to within 2 sigma of theoretical results
• Performed analysis of muon detection time and angle dependence to confirm that cosmic rays are of extra-solar origin
