Description

• Created an experimental setup in order to pass a sweeping electric current through a sample of BaTiO₃ at different temperatures in order to determine the Curie temperature of BaTiO₃
• Performed lab experiment and swept high voltage currents through the sample at differing temperatures to obtain ferroelectric hysteresis data for the sample
• Performed analysis of the data to determine the material’s Curie temperate to within 2 degrees of the theoretical value
