• Setup apparatus to nullify the effects of the Earth’s magnetic field to the maximum degree possible
• Measured the resonant frequency of each isotope in a known magnetic field to determine each isotope’s spin (g_f) value
• Swept the horizontal magnetic field in the apparatus to determine the isotope’s Zeeman resonance
